Linri's Palace closing on Jan 30th
Linri's Palace will be closing at the end of business on Friday, January 29th. Please come as often as you can. I wish every one of my guests the very best. I love you all and appreciate your support through the time we've been here. I can no longer work 8-10 hours a week and pay what I have paid to LL. I am now needing to deal with RL stresses instead of SL ones. Thank you all so much for your support.

Shaggy Had a Birthday!

Yesterday started out just like any other day until I came online and found out I had a DJ sick. Before I could look for a replacement, Alk let me know he had one for me - DJ Shaggy Shakkyo.  I was thrilled.  He's a wonderful DJ and isn't able to play regularly here anymore. 

The set started as usual, with DJ Shaggy playing great music.  Then, he suddenly types in chat  "brb phone..sry ..it happens to be my bday lol..gotta take the calls"

Well, then, it all changed!  We put out a birthday cake and balloons for Shaggy and made it a birthday party.  Alk appeared during that time...  Alk Schwartzman wonders about changing into an exotic dancer and hide in that birthday cake..  He said, "I  never thought I was going to find use for these hunt items.. :)"

Shaggy came back about that time and said "aww..ty Linri..will play a song for me ehehe"
 I said..." Alk was going to jump out of the cake, but...."  Then Alk said..."awww.. thank youuuuu Shaggyyyyyyyyy..."  Alk Schwartzman flutters eyelashes..  "I hope you'll remember about this birthday.. told you i'd have a revenge on you for not telling us.. :)"
Shaggy let us know, "I'm Alk's agaent ...just let me know where u need him to show ehehe"
Ariel Mornington said ( and a few others thought), " I'm so gonna frame the pic I took"

Kiz wasn't to be outdone.  She commented,  "thats ok alk.. my bunny costume is better anyways.. LOL" to which Alk answered "cute bunny.. i must admit.. tsss.."

We went on to try to guess Shaggy's age.  Many guesses were made, but nobody is sure if any were right.  Shaggy said it all when he wisely commented, "ok I'm older than my teeth but the same age as my tongue :)

Needless to say, we had an awesome time.  You can see pictures of both bunnies in our photo album, if  you scroll to the end of p. 2.

Another awesome day at Linri's Palace!  We started with CTM Underwood LIVE,  with Melodee McDonnel singing also.  They are always awesome!  Then, we had a wonderful romantic set with DJ Rivellino.  He does an excellent job with this kind of music.  We ended the day with Soul 2 Soul with Tulsa and Emy!  We always have a wonderful time with them.    Everyone had a great time dancing first to couples' choreography and then as singles! If you haven't come to one of their sets, you need to do so.  They are always awesome!

What a night we had at Linri's last night!  We went from an excellent set by DJ Allan and Salena, hosted by Alk to a band concert by the Bangles, a 4-girl 80's rock band.  We filled the dance floor and all had a ball!  They were awesome, and people stayed around afterward to enjoy MC Tulsa's music until 10:30 p.m. SLT, when we were having trouble staying awake! 

 Ask Tulsa about playing the keyboard in a tribute band!  I believe it was a new experience.  See the pictures on this website! ...and Emy, what do you think of his colorful choice of clothing?  He was at his best! 

We met a new friend during this time - Dragoon!  He was a whole lot of fun, too! We hope he'll come around again soon, so everyone else can meet him!

I'm so excited to have our own website!  Thanks to Kit Capelo for making it possible.  We have a wonderful team at Linri's.  I can't say enough about them.  What makes us successful and a happy place to be, though, is our great guests, our BEST! 

 This is a new experience for me.  I've never written a blog before, but I hope to have a lot of fun with it.  For now, I just want to invite everyone to use this site and visit the club often.
